Say, born in Argentina, living in Madrid, Spain and a legend in his native country and South America on the last decade, has released his new official album, “El Elegido”, trough PHHAT Productions as a free download according to the new cyber era where CDs are already dead.
After touring all 2009 with “Invernadero”, a flamenco show directed by Caroline Plante & Mariano Cruceta’s “Cruceta Flamenco”, Say felt the need to release a new solo album, so he gave birth to “El Elegido” wich features number one worldwide artists such as El Chojin, Frost (Sindicato Argentino, 2001 Grammy winner), Lenwa Dura (Tiro de Gracia), Andie, El Disop, Le Fay, Mo Suntzu, Cyrano Blaq, Loco Rodriguez, Ms. Cristal, Katagi y Rheason, from Spain, Argentina, USA, Canada, Japan and France.
You wont hear the radio formula in this album, Say is not a copycat, Say is his own man and that’s what sets him apart. With killer double time flows and even singing or spitting some raggamuffin, you can tell this is one of the most versatile latin artists, not to mention his productions that range from club to R&B, crunk or g-funk.

Say, argentino residente en Madrid y referente escencial del rap Sudamericano en la ultima decada, presenta su nuevo lanzamiento discografico, “El Elegido”, disco lanzado de forma gratuita a internet por medio de PHHAT Producciones, pero no por eso siendo en formato de mixtape o maqueta. “El Elegido” es un disco oficial con todas las letras, tan solo que amoldado a la nueva era cibernetica que vivimos.
Luego de girar todo el 2009 por la escena teatral flamenca como parte de la propuesta “Invernadero” del bailaor Mariano Cruceta y la guitarrista Caroline Plante, Say se propuso dar forma a este material, el cual fue producido por el mismo (exceptuando un remix por Beatclan), y cuenta con colaboraciones de lujo como El Chojin, Frost (Sindicato Argentino, ganador de un Grammy), Lenwa Dura (Tiro de Gracia), Andie, El Disop, Le Fay, Mo Suntzu, Cyrano Blaq, Loco Rodriguez, Ms. Cristal (rapera quien esta haciendo mucho ruido en Miami), Katagi y Rheason (ambos dos de Japon).
En sus canciones, Say no busca ser diferente ni por el contrario copiar las vertientes de moda, solo hace lo que siente, y eso justamente lo separa del resto. Con flows donde escupe fuego a dobles tiempos intercalando armonias cantadas (llegando incluso a coquetear con el ragga) y metricas furiosas, sobre beats que van de lo mas club al R&B pasando por sonidos crunk o g-funk. “El Elegido” podra gustarte o no, pero no te dejara indiferente, eso esta mas que claro!
Este disco se dispone a marcar un antes y un despues en su carrera, pues segun palabras de Say, estas 19 canciones forman el album que siempre busco hacer.
